L’antico mulino Menaglio, con annessa la pila per l\u2019orzo, \u00e8 collocato ai margini del confine comunale di Teglio, nella frazione di San Rocco sul torrente Rogna. La struttura, risalente al XVIII secolo, attualmente \u00e8 di propriet\u00e0 del Comune che l\u2019ha acquistata dagli eredi dell\u2019ultimo mugnaio Antonio Menaglio.
\nIl restauro conservativo ha permesso al mulino di tornare a vivere e a macinare. La gestione \u00e8 stata affidata all\u2019 \u201cAssociazione per la Coltura del Grano Saraceno di Teglio e dei Cereali Alpini Tradizionali\u201d, costituita da piccoli produttori.
\nNel mulino si provvede alla molitura delle piccole partite di grano saraceno, segale, frumento alpino prodotte nel territorio di Teglio.
\nLa struttura dispone, inoltre, di\u00a0\u00a0spazi espositivi disposti su due livelli che documentano l\u2019attivit\u00e0 agricola e le abitudini alimentari legate alla coltivazione di questi cereali nel passato e nel presente. Adiacente al mulino, vi \u00e8 un piccolo fabbricato dove una cucina e un forno permettono di svolgere attivit\u00e0 didattico-laboratoriale per imparare a confezionare\u00a0\u00a0alcuni prodotti tipici di Teglio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
